Will Robinson

Will is a Business Rates Director and head of GL Hearn’s Landlord team. Will joined the business in April 2020 and is based out of our Cheltenham office.

Having worked in business rates for over 24 years, Will has dealt with a wide variety of property types specialising initially on retail, London offices, and medical properties. Will has chaired Rating Surveyors’ Association / Group Pre-Challenge Review committees and has run successful cases at Valuation Tribunal hearings.

In recent years, Will has worked extensively with major landlords in managing large portfolios, bringing together business rates services to address specific client needs. This includes budgeting advice, empty rates mitigation, and devising and implementing appeal strategies.

Since being with GL Hearn, Will has developed the service offer to landlord clients growing the team and client base together. A dedicated Landlord team now offers expert rating advise to a host of major clients, including British Land, Land Securities, Columbia Threadneedle and many more.
