Myles O’Brien

Myles is a Director and leads the business rates high street and bulk class team at WSP GL Hearn, having joined the business in October 2020. Myles is also head of our London office for the business rates team.

A business rates specialist, Myles has been involved in property for over 30 years with a proven track record in developing high performing teams and providing strategic business rates advice in both the public and private sectors.

Myles is dealing with a nationwide brief to lead and coordinate WSP GL Hearn’s national business rates high street team, this combines the traditional high street occupiers together with a focus on other bulk class properties such as restaurants, offices and industrial.

Myles is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation (IRRV), an elected committee member of the Rating Surveyors’ Association and current Vice President for 2024, as well as a member of the Leisure Property Forum.
