The GL Hearn planning team successfully secured full planning permission, under delegated powers, for a mixed use development comprising student accommodation and commercial uses, at 18-22 Cumberland Place, Southampton.

The part 11 storey and part 12 storey scheme will comprise ground floor flexible commercial space (Use Classes A1/A2/D2) with purpose built student residential accommodation on the upper floors (527 bedrooms in total) and associated communal living space with cycle and waste storage.

The decision and Section 106 legal agreement was made and signed within a 15 week period.
